Reindeer in the summer

Kvaløya is all of Northern Norway in one island. The southern side of Kvaløya Island is an easy daytrip from Tromsø. Fjords, mountains, islands, fishing villages, archaeology, history, and even a beheading – it’s all here. All year, in any weather. Just be aware of reindeer on the road.
